Held in the Non-Smoking Ballroom. You'll be dancing to various types of music. Rumba Dance lesson, will be from 7:30-8 PM for a $5 minimum donation, followed by Social Dancing & Line Dances from 8-10:30 PM, for a minimum of $3 donation for our Moose Lodge Members and $5 for guest. People will be checking ID's and you are required to produce one when requested.** Ricky Wood will be taking over the grass mowing of the common areas at the lake. It is each person's responsibility to keep your personal area and convenience lot (boat parking) grass mowed. If you would like Ricky to take care of it for you, get with him about his fees. Due to the 4th of July falling on our July meeting night, our next meeting is scheduled for the 11th of July and our next event is the Independence Day cookout. It will be on the 6th of July at 1:00 PM. July 9th the Chapter will celebrate their 66th Birthday during their meeting. The 4th of July Cookout will be held inside and due to the extreme heat. July 27th the District 4 meeting will be held at the Lodge, followed by a beer tasting. July 29th we will be holding a Wine Tasting. We had a good Memorial Day cookout, we had a lot of people come out and eat, we ate inside because of the heat. Our 4th of July cookout will be held on Thursday and we are planning to eat inside also because of the heat again, we love to see all of y'all come out and join us. We had a Mexican Fiesta on the 14th of June and had a real good turnout, I hate that some of y'all were not with us. A huge thank you to all who helped make this event such a success. I know we're not supposed to talk about women's age but I would like to with the Women of the Moose Chapter 1353 a happy 66th birthday on July 12th! We are having a District 4 meeting at our Lodge on the 27th of July, I hope to see y'all, it will start at 1:00 PM. In celebration, please bring some desserts on Tuesday the 9th to our Chapter meeting night to celebrate. For more substantial food, order from the Moose Café to have with your dessert after the meeting. Also on our Chapter Night, Suzanne has requested everyone bring a paper bag with something funny in it. Each person will purchase a bag for $1 which will go towards the Endowment Fund that night. Whichever bag you purchase (it cannot be your own!) you must wear the item throughout the meeting.
